Frequently Asked Questions
Q: HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE CAMP?
A. You can sign up online or print and mail in your registration. Please note that there is an online registration fee for credit card processing and convenience.
Q: WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?
All campers should bring cleats, tennis shoes, water bottle, shin guards, soccer ball, sun screen, and lunch/snack. For our College ID Camps, a box lunch can be purchased upon check-in.
Q: WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP?
Check-in varies based on the start time of the camp. In most cases, check-in will begin 1 hour prior to the start of camp. A detailed schedule will be sent via email to all registered campers as well as posted on the website AT LEAST one week prior to the start of camp. Check-in will take place at the site of the camp. At that time, remaining balance (if applicable) and medical forms must be submitted prior to any participation.
Q: IS THERE SPECIFIC GOALKEEPER TRAINING?
Yes, goalkeepers will have specialized training as well as small sided and full field play.
Q: CAN PARENTS STAY AND WATCH?
Yes, parents can stay and watch the sessions.
Q: WILL THERE BE A TRAINER OR MEDICAL STAFF ON SITE?
Yes, a certified athletic trainer will be present during all training sessions.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
There is a non-refundable application fee of $50. All refund requests must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the start of camp and must be submitted in writing to our mailing address. No refunds will be issued within the two weeks prior to camp. Serious injury or sickness may be a consideration.
All refunds must be submitted in writing and mailed to our address AT LEAST 2 WEEKS PRIOR to the start of camp. All but a 25% non-refundeable administrative fee will be returned. If a cancellation occurs WITHIN THE 2 WEEKS prior to camp, a non-refundeable voucher for the next available comparable camp will be offered. *effective 3/24/13
Q: WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY AS IT PERTAINS TO WEATHER CANCELLATIONS?
Weather related cancellations are non-refundeable. The Rams Soccer Academy will adhere to the proper lightning and thunder protocols and will only cancel if more than 2 hours of delays have accumulated. In the event of heavy rain, the Rams Soccer Academy will continue unless the playing surface is deemed unplayable. In the event of a weather related cancellation, each participant will receive a 50% discount to the next available camp offered.
